the horrible truth about photography...

I had to spend the past 2 nights at the beach having fun!  It was aweful but someone had to do it :-) 

Seriously though, on Sunday night I went to the beach and was able to capture 2 very beautiful young women.  MJ and J...  I had such a great time! I can't wait to see you guys again and continue where we left off.  FORD - if you are out there...  here are a couple for you to consider :-) ....

 

Tonight was a total different ball game...  a little girl you may recognize from my site and her family playing at the beach.  The guys were such troopers.  I'm sure we all know how much the men we know love to have their pictures taken :-)  I have never been one to pose people and I adore this next picture - a perfect family picture according to tracy jones...

  

This young man was amazing - I know how much he dreaded this evening but you'd never know it...  He did anything I asked him to do and never once complained!  He can come home with me anytime!  He is so great with his baby sister too - it was just great to see them interact.  Meet T - he is as sweet as he is handsome ladies :-) ...

I need to get some sleep because a brand new addition to one of my favorite families is joining the world tomorrow...  I guess today since it's 12:04 am...  YIKES...  off to bed!

my sweet buddy & miss m...

Well...  Landon went to the docs for what we though was going to be a great visit.  His boo boo looks great from surgery.  Then we found another one that needs to be cleaned at the hospital in the morning.  He is being such a brave buddy!  He is VERY EMOTIONAL these days...  :-(  He is being so strong on the outside with everyone poking at his head I suppose it has to come out in another way.  I will just keep loving him up - it is not hard to do :-) !!!  A couple recent pics...

This was what I found walking into the living room the other night - he closed his eyes cause he didn't want me to take his picture :-)...  what a little snuggle bug!

We visited meme and pop yesterday since camping was out for the week...  he decided to practice kayaking...

another day in boo boo ville...

Went to visit Dr E this morning...  she is a riot!  He has the best docs over at SS.  His boo boo looks ok but still not great :-(  I'll bring him back Tue or Wed for another check but no camping with meme and pop this week.  He is one bummed little boy.  We wet to visit while they were getting ready to leave today and took a few fun pics :-)  We'll go up for some campfires this week.  Until then we'll do a ton of fun things together, just the 2 of us :-)  Today we are going to the movies with auntie M and the boys...  gotta go get ready.  These were today after his appt. ...

totally blown but I LOVE it!!!  He landed in my arms about 2 seconds later :-) ...

this is how much he loves me :)  I believe he said all the way to the moon and back to Cole's school!  WOW :-)

landon's boo boo & surgery...

Landon had to go to the surgery center Friday to have his boo boo cleaned up.  He might have to go back again depending on how it heals but ....  we'll be optimistic and say for now that it will heal perfectly and we won't have to go back :-)  I didn't bring my camera today but found I had to capture some of this day...  enter the iphone :-)  These were all taken with the phone after his surgery...  how sweet is he??!  

 

cream cheese lips trying to figure out why his little hand is wrapped in red instead of blue...  didn't they know blue was his favorite color????  geeze :-)

 

Landon with Beary Bear and his new puppy auntie S gave him ( he loves him!!!)..  they are all snuggled up on the couch right now :-)

 

 

Landon decided Beary bear needed an ID band too :-)...

funny story...  see that band aid on his hand?  he doesn't remember his IV and kept telling his brother they put a band aid on his had for no reason at all!  He ripped it off and he had one amazing anesthesia doc cause you can't even tell where the IV was.  Everyone involved was amazing with him and I could never thank them all enough.  Thank you for being so great with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  He tells me he liked you all even though you may not have gotten that impression while we were there.  Oh - and Dr H....  Landon is telling EVERYONE about his spongebob adventure :-)  He loves you and thought you were way cool knowing about his favorite cartoon!!!  :-)  He did think you were a bit old to know so much about spongebob though :-)  he he he

I'll update more later but this was Landon today when we came home from the surgery center...  he was amazing and is doing great!  You'd never know he was there...  once he got his balance back :-)

breast cancer 3 day walk...support Joann

One of my friends needs our help...  Please support her as she takes an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. so proud...

Landon is such a trooper ~ I could never be more proud.  He saw the doctor again on Friday and he actually sat there and let her clean out his boo boo.  He was not really impressed with crocodile tears eventually falling but she was able to do what had to be done.  What a good boy.  I even offered him ice cream for lunch but he opted for pb&j ~ then ate my lunch instead :-)  Then... he had cake batter ice cream with rainbow jimmies and an m&m cookie cone on top :-)  YUMMY!!! 

It is better but his hair keeps getting in the way of healing - I think it is time to see another awesome person...  his hairdresser.  It hurts to pull the hair off the boo boo :-( .

crazy busy...

Wow...  what can I say...  I have never been this busy in my life :-)  NO COMPLAINTS!!!  I have met so many amazing fun people in the past couple weeks I wouldn't trade it for the world.  So the exciting news..  the adoption is final for prince m :-)  Congrats to you all.  What a great day yesterday must've been for you. 

I was finally able to meet a sweetie that was born 3 weeks ago.  I almost went to the cape the weekend she was born I was so excited to meet her.  Her mommy and daddy glow just being within a couple feet of her.  She is one very lucky little girl to have such wonderful parents.  I am thrilled for you both ~ GRAMMY TOO :-)  Here are a couple..  you will bee seeing many pics of little miss h as time goes by...
